I am back for the final review from the trio pack I purchased from Ever Butter! The product I will review today will be the Ever Butter Lovely Curl Moisturizing Spray. I was excited yet interested to see how well this spray would mesh well with my curls. I love my DIY refresher spray that I just refuse to part with BUT I thought it would be fun to see how well my curls adapted to a similar concept product with a different formulation. One thing about my hair I have learned during my journey has been that if she (yes – my hair) doesn’t like a product she definitely will let me know… hmmm I wonder where she gets that from? (lol) Let’s take a deeper look into this product to see if you should give it a try!

I wasn’t too familiar with this company less alone this product so I had to do some research to see if it was even worth a try. I have learned always do your research first to see if a product will go best with your texture. Over time and with practice you will begin to develop a since of awareness for what works well with your hair and what doesn’t. Don’t give up it does take time for some and you must keep your eye on fulfilling your journey. This product is packaged in a tall 12 fl. oz. spray bottle that retails for $17.00. This product claims to prevent dry hair, split ends, helps with conditioning & detangling. If you are looking to add shine to your hair with a silky soft texture while allowing soothing scalp circulation in the scalp aiding in growth – this product claims it will get the job done. This product is designed as a leave in treatment or daily refresher. I love how these products are made with 100% natural ingredients too!

Today is wash day! So I have decided instead of using my DIY refresher I will try out this product instead in its place. My wash day will go a little something like this: co-wash→ conditioner/detangle → deep condition→ leave in moisturizing spray→ leave in conditioner→ style. Fast forward… just rinsed out my deep conditioner and I reach for my leave in spray and shake it well before use. I start to spray all over my hair noticing a mist of aroma reminding me a bit of a herbal smell. I didn’t love it or hate it. As the spray hit my hair it definitely absorbed well and my hair felt moisturized. One issue I had was my spray bottle was a travel size and it took a lot of sprays for me to reach desired product distribution. Not very much came out of the bottle resulting in me having to spray more times to ensure enough product coated my hair. Maybe the normal size bottle sprays more I hope. This product also played very well with my other products resulting in easy styling. So would I repurchase again?

FINAL THOUGHTS: No! Funny thing is my hair didn’t hate this product nor did it create any problems but on the flip side it didn’t really enhance anything either. Now I like to be fair to not bash certain products for not performing to my liking for something they didn’t claim they would do. On the other hand, my hair likes and needs what it likes and needs it’s just that simple. My hair wasn’t left shiny, wasn’t any easier to detangle, wasn’t left silky but my hair was extremely soft. So there you go! Just too many strikes for me. My hair also was frizzy not very defined which wasn’t a big deal but like to put it all out there. I will probably try it a few more times as a refresher spray and see if I have better success using it that way. Like I always say you don’t know until you try – hey they were free trial sizes… best way to try products out for cheap! In the end this product didn’t work for me especially against my power house DIY refresher spray. Are you needing to refresh your thirsty curls, coils & kinks? Do it – what will you use? Chow ♥
